My Joovy Strollers

As you may know, I am blessed with four children, three of them within 14 months…  As you can imagine, I have become somewhat of a STROLLER Connoisseur!

I have my triple for when i am out with the boys alone, but pushing 130+ pounds is not fun (55lbs for the stroller, 80 lbs for the boys!).  Plus, it is so long that i fear crossing a street, as I cannot see the cars when I step off the curb, but the front baby can.  I have a side-by-side double (too wide for many doors and going through aisles). I also have a twin travel system, but it is too big and heavy…  So what do I do when I have my older daughter or another adult with me and I want to be able to get in and out of cars, stores, the park, church, venues easily and quickly?

I was asked to review the 2010 Joovy Ultralight Caboose and the 2010 Joovy Kooper.  I received the strollers for free in return for a fair review.  I have been using them for about 2 weeks now, and I am hooked!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kooper!  It is exactly what I needed for my little guy!  It is light, easy to get around with, and walking with him makes me feel like I am walking on air!!!  Plus, it is a nice looking stroller!

As for my Caboose, I am THRILLED to have something for my twins that is light and easy for me to get up and about!  Having both strollers folded (they are compact) in my minivan, i have plenty of room for groceries or other packages/bags.  And I get maneuver so easily with it!  It is not much bigger than a single stroller!

I live in the Bronx.  My husband and I went into Manhattan Friday night to see a show with my daughter and the twins.  The Caboose was FANTASTIC for getting around the city streets and in and out of Madison Square Garden!

Two negatives:
1). There is no 5 point harness on the back seat, only a 3 point (the front seat has a 5 point). Coming home from the show, the twins fell asleep.  The front twin was fine sleeping in the upright position.  The back twin was falling over and there was nothing I could do because it was only a 3 point harness and he kept falling forward.

2). The back seat does not have a cup holder or a place for the child to put his snacks.  Louis kept trying to put it on the foot rest, but then would get upset when he would kick it over, while Anthony had his cup in one cup holder and his bowl of snacks in the other.

The positives far outweigh the negatives, and like I said, I AM HOOKED!

Here are photos of what the strollers look like!
