Sweetness and Innocence or Mischief and Mayhem?
The boys are at a stage where they are into everything. Things you think they couldn’t possibly reach? They totally can! They not only reach those off limit items, but then they’re off to pull the dogs’ ears and make wooden block and stacking ring soup in the big dog’s water bowl (with a side of Goldfish, of course).
But can I stay upset with them for more than 0.2 seconds? Um, not really. I mean, could you? Just look at this face? The picture of sweetness and innocence and all that is pure and good in the world, right?

Well, sure, but…
Anyone have a guess what he was doing not two seconds before I snapped this photo? No way was he throwing a little mini conniption fit because I wouldn’t let him chew on the digital camera’s USB cord. Nope, not my sweet baby. And he definitely wasn’t involved in a re-enactment of WWE (that we don’t even watch) right in the middle of the living room floor with my two year old. Nope, not my darling honey. And he definitely wasn’t wondering what kind of hairstyle he could create with his lunch in a few minutes. Nope, not my perfect angel.

They say little girls have their daddy’s wrapped around their little fingers. Well, I know these little boys sure have their mommy wrapped around their chubby little baby fingers.
Every morning, during playtime, it’s a zoo here with screaming and crying and laughing and giggling and the sound of hard plastic toys hitting the wall. Most mornings I yearn for naptime so I can rest a bit in the silence. A funny thing happens though. About five minutes into naptime I start to miss the chaos and sometimes I even tiptoe in to give them a little kiss on their noses and see this and I can’t remember all the sour moments, only the sweet.

What kind of mischief do your little ones get into that, although they are being naughty, you just can’t get upset with them?
